SUSTEN PASS

As it was my birthday, we went to one of my favorite places in the Alps, Susten Pass. The whole drive up there is just beautiful and when you get to the top, there is a glacier with a nice lake and a stunning scenery all around.

In order to see this place in some nice evening light, we started pretty late and after a few short stops along the way, we got to the lake just as the sun was disappearing and got to enjoy the amazing landscape in the moody blue hour conditions. I ended up shooting a lot of photos and returned home very happily. A sunset in the mountains is always something breathtaking, especially overlooking this glacier and its lake. It was the perfect way to spend my birthday.
